Hello from Winnipeg! My goodness, yesterday was such a sun-filled, glorious day to explore. I love this country so much.

It has been a little while since I wrote a post… I am sorry for that! There is lot’s going on here, there and everywhere! I am safely nestled in my hockey dressing room at the MTS Centre.  I had no idea that most of my dressing rooms would be hockey locker rooms (minus the hockey players :P)… I’m diggin’ it. All through highschool I rarely missed any Memorial Marauders game :)

Again, I’m truly grateful for all the awesome people surrounding me right now. From the entire crew to all of the people I am meeting… I am honoured to be here. My record is getting some sweet reviews from all over and I love meeting everyone after the show. I can’t believe it is almost over! How on earth will I survive the road without The Mega Bus? Haha… I guess all of the miles I’ve logged in the past playing all over the place will help.

Many thanks to everyone who made Massey Hall such a killer experience. It’s a good thing we taped it, otherwise I would not believe it actually happened. I am hoping there are some Neil Young vibes floating around that place and I have absorbed them through osmosis. Hey! I am in his hometown right now! YAY!

It is almost time for soundcheck, and I am trying desperately to avoid the massive espresso machine catering has set up for us today. I should send a shout out to everyone who has helped put delicious food in our bellies so far… Thanks for the amazing grub! We are well taken care of out here and all of your work does not go unoticed by this foodie!

Hey everyone! We are 6 shows in on the Heart Comes Home Tour and the shows keep getting better! The last two shows in Halifax and Montreal were overwhelming. I was thrilled to see so many familiar faces and to meet so many lovely souls in Montreal….. hmmmm so far Montreal wins for the best rock and roll audience! I wanted to extend a huge thank you to everyone who bought CD’s over the last week. We have 14 shows left and I am loving every minute of this experience.

I thought I’d post a video we recorded in Cape Breton of the full band playing live. Hope you dig it!

Just a quick little note to let you all know that I am having the time of my life. Thanks so much to everyone in NFLD and PEI! It’s hard to believe we have about 17 more shows left! I am diggin’ tour bus life and everyone on the crew is awesome to the core. I still get goosebumps every night before Heart hit the stage. I absolutely love seeing the crowds reaction with every tune, every one of Nancy’s rockin high kicks, every superb note that Ann hits. The band is just amazing, and we could not have picked a better crew of people to be travelling with. We were even given tour parkas! I will wear mine forever.

We are leaving in a few hours for Moncton! It’s pretty hilarious that about a week ago I was driving my corolla through 2 snow storms to get to my gig at the Manhattan in Moncton. Now I am in an ULTIMATE tour bus, opening shows for world renowned legends!

Life is beautiful.
